Founded in 2008 in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, India, J.N.N Institute of Engineering (JNNIE) is known for its community of reputed and dedicated faculty, bright and talented students and effective administration and support staff. State of the art infrastructure in all branches of Engineering and Management, highly conducive environment for teaching-learning process and a lush green campus are the hallmarks of this professionally managed institution. The Institute has consistently produced outstanding engineers who have excelled in their career and occupied responsible positions in some of the best-known enterprises in India. J.N.N Institute of Engineering is spread across 48 acres of lush green campus at Chennai – Periyapalayam Highway, off NH-5, just 24 Kms from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Mr. Naveen Jayachandran
Naveen Jayachandran is the Vice Chairman of J.N.N Institutions, where he spearheads its growth strategy and new initiatives. He received a B.E in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai and an M.E in Engineering Management from Rochester Institute of Technology, New York, U.S.
Before he started serving as the Vice-Chairman of J.N.N Institutions, he was Sr. Process Engineer with IBM at RTP, North Carolina, U.S. He spent close to 2 years in this position and contributed immensely to the team and the project at IBM.
Naveen is very passionate about high quality education and its ability to transform lives, having learned it first-hand. He credits all of the exposure and opportunities he has got to his educational experiences and has made it his mission to enable other students to have impactful and transformational learning experiences.
Our motto, “Learning Today. Leading Tomorrow”, permeates every aspect and activity at J.N.N. Over the past 16 years, J.N.N Institute of Engineering has successfully imbibed several of the proven best practices from the best of engineering institutions around the world, adapted them to make them better suited to the ground realities and introduced many of its own innovations in engineering education. I am very much delighted to welcome you to J.N.N Institute of Engineering, Chennai, promoted by M/s. Alamelu Ammal Educational Trust. I joined the JNNIE family as Principal in 2022 March and have 35 years of professional experience. Our Group of Institutions gives relentless quality service in the area of education and research, in the fields of Engineering and Technology, Management Studies, Computer Applications and Arts and Science.
We want to provide the best learning experience through the experiential learning process. The idea was devised and drawn up by the management, faculty members, and administrators together. We have a common purpose mindset and language that permeates in the whole institution. There are four key principles underlying this:
(i) assure the best learning outcomes through strategic planning
(ii) create seamless service through engineered operational quality
(iii) build a strong relationship among the stakeholders
(iv) delight the stakeholders with personalized care of service quality.
We have experienced and highly motivated faculty members, staff and trainers for enhancing the student’s skills (thinking skills, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, communication skills, technical skills, etc.) and mould them into all-rounded technocrats. Also, our curriculum meets the industry requirements and ensures all our students are industry-ready.
